Guide to Creating an Email QR Code

An email QR code allows users to generate a QR code containing a recipient's email address, subject line, and email body. When scanned, the device will open the email application with the information pre-filled.

Steps to Follow

  1. Visit the website qrcode-gen.com.
  2. Select the QR Code generation feature.
  3. On the QR code generation screen, select the Email tab.
  4. In the Enter Email Address section, enter the following information:
    • Recipient Email: enter the email address that will receive the message.
    • Subject: enter the email subject.
    • Body: enter the email content you want to pre-fill.

  1. Click Generate QR Code.
  2. The QR code will be displayed in the preview area on the right side of the screen.
  3. You can open the Title & Description section to add a title or description for the QR code, making it easier to identify when managing or using it.
  4. You can open the Customize QR Code section to change the QR code's appearance, such as color, shape, frame, or logo.
  5. Adjust the QR Size using the slider, for example, from 200px to 1000px.
  6. Select the download format:
    • PNG
    • SVG
    • EPS

  1. Click Download for the selected format, for example, Download (PNG).
  2. Use the downloaded QR file for printing, attaching to documents, brochures, standees, websites, or sharing with users.

Notes

  • Ensure the email is in the correct format, for example, email@example.com.
  • When scanning the code, the device will typically open the default email application.
  • The subject and body can be left blank if you only want to create a QR code containing the recipient's email address.
  • The longer the content, the denser the QR code, which may make it harder to scan.
  • It is recommended to test the QR code before official use to ensure the email, subject, and body are displayed correctly.
