A PDF QR code allows users to create a QR code that links to a PDF file. When the code is scanned, users can open or download the PDF file on their device.
Steps to Follow
- Visit the website qrcode-gen.com.
- Select the QR Code generation feature.
- On the QR code creation screen, select the PDF tab.
- In the Upload or enter PDF link section, upload your PDF file using one of the following methods:
- Drag and drop the PDF file into the upload area.
- Click on the file selection area or the Upload PDF button to select a file from your computer.
- Note that the maximum PDF file size is 10MB.
- Enter additional information if needed:
- Company name: The name of the entity or organization that owns the document.
- PDF title: The display title of the document.
- Company website: The relevant website link, if applicable.
- Click Generate QR Code.
- The QR code will appear in the preview area on the right side of the screen.
- You can open the Title & description section to enter a name or notes for the QR code.
- You can open the Customize QR Code section to change the QR code's appearance, such as colors, shapes, frames, or logos.
- Adjust the QR Size using the slider, for example, from 200px to 1000px.
- Select the download format:
- PNG
- SVG
- EPS
- To save the code to your account, click Save code.
- Click Download in your chosen format, for example, Download (PNG).
- Use the QR code on printed materials, brochures, catalogs, posters, standees, product packaging, or any media channels where you need to share a PDF file.
Notes
- Only upload PDF files in the correct
.pdfformat. - The maximum file size for upload is 10MB.
- It is recommended to set a clear PDF title so that scanners understand the document's content.
- If the content of the PDF file is changed, you may need to update the file or generate a new QR code, depending on the system's storage mechanism.
- It is recommended to test scan the QR code before printing or sharing to ensure the PDF file opens correctly.
