An SMS QR code allows users to scan the code to quickly open their messaging app with the phone number and message content pre-filled. The user only needs to verify the content and tap send on their device.
Steps to Follow
- Visit the website qrcode-gen.com.
- Select the QR Code generation feature.
- On the QR code generation screen, select the SMS tab.
- In the Enter message content section, enter the following information:
- Phone number: Enter the recipient's phone number.
- Message content: Enter the text you want to pre-fill in the message.
- Click Generate QR Code.
- The QR code will appear in the preview area on the right side of the screen.
- You can open the Title & description section to add a name or notes for the QR code.
- You can open the Customize QR Code section to change the QR code's appearance, such as color, shape, frame, or logo.
- Adjust the QR Size using the slider, for example, from 200px to 1000px.
- Select the download format:
- PNG
- SVG
- EPS
- If you want to save the code to your account, click Save code.
- Click Download in your chosen format, for example, Download (PNG).
- Use the QR code on posters, registration forms, marketing materials, service counters, or any point where you need to collect feedback or messages from customers.
Notes
- It is recommended to enter the phone number in the correct format, preferably including the country code such as
+84. - When scanning the code, the device will typically open the default messaging app.
- The message is not sent automatically; the user still needs to tap send on their phone.
- The longer the message content, the denser the QR code, which may make it harder to scan.
- If the phone number or message content changes, you must generate a new QR code.
- It is recommended to test scan the QR code before printing or sharing to ensure the phone number and content are displayed correctly.
