How to Create an Online Restaurant Menu

Nine Menu allows restaurants to create a free online menu, shareable via a link or QR code so customers can view the menu directly on their phones.

Prerequisites

Users can use their registered account on QRCODE-GEN to log in to the menu system. There is no need to create a separate account for Nine Menu.

Steps to Follow

  1. Access the website menu.nineqr.com.
  2. Click Register for Free or Create menu now.
  3. Log in using your registered QRCODE-GEN account.
  4. After logging in successfully, the system will redirect you to the restaurant menu management page.
  5. On the management page, select the icon to edit restaurant information.
  6. Update your restaurant details in the Edit Restaurant Information screen, including:
    • Restaurant Name: the name of the restaurant.
    • Restaurant URL: the online menu link for the restaurant.
    • Description: a brief description of the restaurant.
    • Phone Number: contact phone number.
    • Address: restaurant address.
    • Social Media: social media links such as Facebook, Zalo, Messenger, YouTube, if applicable.

  1. For the Restaurant URL field, you should only use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens.
    Example:
    restaurant-hometown
    When saved, the menu link will look like:
    https://menu.nineqr.com/r/restaurant-hometown
  2. After entering all the information, click SAVE INFORMATION to save.
  3. Continue adding dishes or products to the menu using the add new button on the management interface.
  4. For each dish, enter the required details such as dish name, image, price, description, and display status.
  5. Once the menu is complete, use the Share button to share the menu link with your customers.
  6. You can generate a QR code for the menu link to print on tables, checkout counters, posters, standees, or promotional materials.

Important Notes

  • The login account for Nine Menu is your registered QRCODE-GEN account.
  • The menu link should be short, easy to remember, and match your brand name.
  • The Restaurant URL should not contain Vietnamese diacritics, spaces, or special characters.
  • It is recommended to fully update your phone number, address, and operating hours so customers can easily contact you.
  • After creation, you should test opening the menu link on a mobile phone to check the display layout.
