How to Create a Dynamic QR Code for a Website URL

A Dynamic QR code for a website URL allows users to create a QR code that links to a website. Once created, the QR code will be saved in the management system, where scan statistics can be tracked and information can be edited as needed.

Steps to Create

  1. Log in to your QRCODE-GEN account.
  2. On the dashboard, select Dynamic QR Code.
  3. Click the Create QR Code button in the top right corner of the screen.
  4. The system will display the Select QR Code Type screen.
  5. Select the QR Code option with the description Create QR code for website, vCard, PDF....
  6. On the QR code creation screen, select the Website tab.
  7. In the Enter website (URL) field, enter the website link you want to generate a QR code for.
    Example: https://www.qrcode-gen.com
  8. Select the Dynamic QR code type.
  9. Click the Create QR Code button.
  10. Once successfully created, the system will save the dynamic QR code to your management list.
  11. You can view the newly created QR code in the Dynamic QR Code list, which includes:
    • QR code image.
    • Title or description (if any).
    • Dynamic QR link in the format of https://code.nineqr.com/....
    • The original website URL entered.
    • Creation time.
    • Number of scans.

Additional Options

Before generating the QR code, users can configure the following additional settings:

  • Title & description: Enter a title and description to easily identify the QR code in your management list.
  • Customize QR Code: Change the appearance of the QR code, such as colors, shapes, frames, or logos if needed.
  • QR Size: Adjust the QR code size using the slider, for example, from 200px to 1000px.
  • Download format: Choose the file format: PNG, SVG, or EPS.

Note

  • For dynamic QR codes, you must click Create QR Code first so the system can officially save the code before you can download it.
  • The preview on the right is only a preview and is not the official QR code until you click Create QR Code.
  • The website URL should start with https:// or http:// to ensure the QR code works correctly.
  • It is recommended to set a clear title/description for easier management when you have multiple QR codes.
