Guide to Creating a Phone Number QR Code

A phone number QR code allows users to scan the code to quickly open their phone app with the number pre-filled. The user only needs to confirm the call on their device.

Steps to Follow

  1. Visit the website qrcode-gen.com.
  2. Select the QR Code creation feature.
  3. On the QR code generation screen, select the Phone tab.
  4. In the Enter phone number field, enter the phone number you want to encode.
    For example:
    • +84 901 234 567
    • 0901234567

  1. Click Generate QR Code.
  2. The QR code will appear in the preview area on the right side of the screen.
  3. You can open the Title & Description section to add a name or notes for the QR code.
  4. You can open the Customize QR Code section to change the appearance of the QR code, such as colors, shapes, frames, or logos.
  5. Adjust the QR Size using the slider, for example, from 200px to 1000px.
  6. Select the download format:
    • PNG
    • SVG
    • EPS

  1. If you want to save the code to your account, click Save Code.
  2. Click Download in your chosen format, for example, Download (PNG).
  3. Use the QR code on business cards, posters, sales materials, reception desks, websites, or other customer contact channels.

Notes

  • It is recommended to enter the phone number in the correct format, preferably including the country code such as +84.
  • When scanning the code, the device will typically open the default phone app.
  • The user still needs to confirm before the call is initiated.
  • If the phone number changes, you must generate a new QR code.
  • It is recommended to test scan the QR code before printing or sharing to ensure the phone number is displayed correctly.
